Default 10psi Polished Whipple installed

Last week I posted the Wilwood install we did on a friends Roush. I mentioned the Whipple going on this week. It pulls like the space shuttle! Here it is - (No, that's not me in the pic, That's the master tech that works for me)

He better keep it polished up to the hilt, it cost enough! He was in a hurry to get it done yesterday so he could head to "The Tail of the Dragon" in N.C. for a club run this weekend. He is going to put it through the paces!

I put that kit on a budy of mine's car last weekend. I was really suppreised how easily it went on, and the kit was very complete. There were a couple of typo's in the directions, but other than that, I highly reccomend this kit to anyone. Kit comes out looking like a factory installed piece. Pictures with directions were a great help, and the entire fuel system wiring was a plug and play deal, which I love because it keeps me from having to disasseble the fuel pump assembly. If you have the means, pick this kit up, you won't be dissapointed.

If you make it to a dyno, let me know what #'s you're actually putting down.

Did you guys paint the water crossover tube? The one one the kit that I did was the same color as the factory one, not black.

It, and a few other things were powdercoated. I agree with your comments on the install. It went very smoothly. Only a couple of little issues that need correction in the install instructions. Although it has not hit the dyno yet, the intercooled 10psi kit should be close to the 500rwhp mark per FRPP. It is an awesome and well thought out kit.

Can't wait to see the finish product this weekend. I'll be running the Tail of the Dragon with this guy. I talked with him last night and he's happier than a kid in a candy store with the install that was done. Hey MusiccityGT, looks like your master tech is really starting to know the ends and outs of the mustangs with all the different jobs he's done now. Great job!!

I am still debating between Saleen and Whipple but i'll have one or the other in by the end of the year depending whose got the best price, most likely will be Saleen though.

The kit looks great!

Definately the whipple, the intercooler is probably 3 times larger on the whipple than on the saleen, giving you more power if you ever decide to up the boost on it.

Go with the whipple.
