Wouldnt it be sweet if Ford decided that all GTs came stock with the 5.4L rather than the 4.6L.... then all the SVT vehicles could just change heads, cams, maybe gears, and of course all the extra weight in ground effects. Then all the Saleen's and Roush's could just slap on their S/C and call it a done deal. Then the Vettes could kiss our asses, stock for stock. LOL
I wonder how much more they will cost though? Would be sweet no doubt man.

Look man - you say you are overseas - I guess you are "fighting the fight." Thank you.

Look - I will give you my feeling.Look at the 1999 - 2004 Mustangs. Very minor differences overall - nothing you could not upgrade to on your own.

I see the same for the 05 -07s. I think the 08 will be very similar too. There will be some limited edition models made like the Boss, Mach1, Bullitt, etc... this has always been part of Mustang history.

Probably a major change will come in 2009 - 2010. Look at the car's history and you will get insight on the future.

I would keep your car (save the money for mods) - sounds like you need to drive it a lot more when you come back though.

Keep it all good man.

First and foremost, thanks for all you do in the Military.

Ok now down to business......

First things first sounds like a scam, there is no 0% on 2007 Ford Mustangs, and a Dealership can not give you the 0% deal that only exsists on Trucks right now I believe, for the Mustang. It won't happen.

Secondly, if by chance your '06 is a 5 speed, then that is a rare care, not soo rare as say a Duesy, but in '06 and I even think the first year '05, there were not too many 5 speed GT's on the market at all. You have an '06 with way low miles keep it, no need to go further in debt for essentially the same car, unless they were giving you say a Shelby GT or a GT/CS for the same price as your 06, then and only then would I consider it.

But whatever you decide, good luck and all that jazz

My dealership just contacted me and asked if I was interested in trading my 2006 GT for the newer 2007 GT. My 06 GT only has 300 miles on it and it sits in storage right now because I am stationed overseas at the moment.

I am not certain as to the major differences between the 2006 model and the 2007. Anyone with insight on this, please help.

Here are my questions right now.

What are the differences between the 06 and 07 GT's?
Which would you choose?
Why would you choose it over the other?
Cryptic, first off, itsounds like you are aG.I. serving our country overseas, so thank you and we wish you the best.

My wife and Ibought an 07 GT in large part becauseour new Mustanghas a 6 - way power passenger seat. She likes to adjust the power passenger seat so that she has good visibility. This option was a deal maker for us. The power passenger seat is included in the Comfort Group option which had a suggested retail price of $575.The Comfort Group alsoincludes heated driver and passenger seats and electrochromic mirror.

Good luck with whatever decision you make.

No one has mentioned the fact that the 07 is a different frame than the o6, I had an 06 and the 07 is completely different ride, much firmer to the road, also there are visual diffs if you look at the frame, this is because ford has changed the frame to accept the gt500. and does not use 2 frames, too expensive and too much work......trust me, there is a diff between the 2 also if your 07 is built after 09'06 then your water leak problem is supposedly fixed??

What was the place that had the water leak so we all will know. Mine was built 06/06, no leak yet but would like to know where if it does to give the dealer service heads up.
