What are your times with and without mods? I've heard from another forum that 13.9 stock isnt fast. I guess times are changing and cars are getting quicker because i still think that's pretty fast. 13.9 seconds is the number i got from the Road and Track database. I know some of you run quicker numbers STOCK. Lets hear them.

Thanks
-Jun-

Since you didn't specifically ask for GT times, I'll chime in here. My fastest time to-date is a 15-flat with my V6 vert, but I was having trouble hooking up pegleg-style (2.2+ 60'):

It certainly was alot of fun! An LSD and gears will improve my 60' times & ET's.

Ya sorry but times posted on the internet without a time slip are BS, I dont care who says what they got. Ive got an auto with a 93 tune and a cai and Im running 13.6's I find it VERY hard to believe that a stock 5 speed is THAT much faster than an auto. I can believe .2-.3 but .6 ... no f*ckin way. Unless your *** has a 5 speed stripped out bone stock without spare tire, jack, shaker, and all your interior panels removed and drag radials aint now way.
Considering how close the S197 GT and the LS1 F-bodies are, I would say that 13.6 for a manual is very reasonable.

I ran 13.8 my first run ever at the track...

Then my second run I ran 13.4, i'm pretty sure I can break 12's but I have pictures and videos.

I havent run my car. But a friend of mine ran 13.52 (best of three passes, all below 13.7) bone stock with 1K miles on his car. Manual trans WITH the shaker 1000 and spare, etc. On 17" stock tires at factory specified psi. It was a fairly cool, dry, evening in the spring.

With a JLT and preditor canned tune it turned 13.4 on a hot 90 degree day in august with 90% humidity.

He has had a few cars down the strip before though so he is a pretty good driver I guess.

if i had a scanner, id put it up here. my VERY FIRST run down the track( 1/8th mile) , and this was an auto, i clocked a 9.1388 @79.81 mph. all i had was CAI with 87 octane tune. couldnt launch for ****, and my tires werent aligned and psi was 30. a month of trying to launch at every single freakin redlight i came to, LCA's and a bump to 93 octane tune23lbs of air in stock pirellis, i ran a 8.6700 in the 1/8th, clocked a 1.998 60 foot at 82.13 mph. not GREAT. but it would have beat that 13.666 posted above. notice my time was faster through the 1/8th. now, if thats stock tires and an auto with ONE engine and ONE suspension mod, and a ****ty novice driver, why cant some of these times be real. ill find a scanner and way to get these slips online. they go from horrendous to not terrible. no good ones... but im working on it.

that's my best time so far. i think I might buy some ET streets and drop as much weight as possible to see if I can get in the 12's. I know I could launch much harder with some better tires. The rubber on these Pirelli's feel really hard.

Okay, I just suck...That is all I have to say....Last night I ran my best a 14.49 @100.44mph....with a 2.32 60'

It was only my second time out with the pony....The first I kept going up in smoke...Last night I wasn't going up in smoke...just wasn't getting any launch....So maybe next time I find the happy medium???
