you can use the water, it will help clean more, but if you dont get a good burnout with it, it'll hinder more than help. but yeah, water aint a terrible thing. sorry to mislead that skipping its a better way to go. just try em all and see what ya get.

best stock was a 14.1 @ 99, the best 60' I cut was a 2.3, I can't seem to find a sweet spot for launching without getting spin or massive wheelhop.

last weekend I put on the brenspeed 91 tune and c&l, made one pass of 13.8 @ 102 and got kicked off for not having an approved helmet. I shortshifted on that run as well, and cut a 2.1 60' with a little spin and some hopping.

helmets don't cost much I already have one just incase my time falles below 14s
since the rule is under 14s (13.999 or lower) a helmet is required by NHRA rules

What are your times with and without mods? I've heard from another forum that 13.9 stock isnt fast. I guess times are changing and cars are getting quicker because i still think that's pretty fast. 13.9 seconds is the number i got from the Road and Track database. I know some of you run quicker numbers STOCK. Lets hear them.

Thanks

I've never run mine at the track bone stock but with CAI and 93 tune have run a best of 13.39@104.89 with a short time of 2.01, the car averages in the 13.4's now and if it wasn't for work, I would have been at Byron yesterday in 55f trying for 13.2's. Hopefully the weather holds up another week so I can try next weekend.

I must be shifting to slow!

I had a 60ft of 2.06 and a trap speed of 106, but still my time was 13.675. I'm exercising my shifting hand as we speak!
