Default CDC Classic Chin Spoiler

Ok, I'm bored.. so I figured I'd post a few pics of the CDC Chin spoiler I put on yesterday along with the Stars and Stripes pony..

Not sure how I feel about the pony yet, but if nothing else, its different!

The CDC bumper looks real good. What kinda mods you gotta do to mount it?

None. The install for the Classic spoiler will literally take you 10 minutes and that includes prep time.. 4 screws (factory), 2 push pins, and some foam tape and your in.

It took longer to pay my bill at the body shop for the paint then to install it!

Hey, that looks great. Quick question for you. Since you added the chin spoiler up front, does that make it look weird in the back of the car (off balance) I really want the classic chin, but don't want it to look funny w/out adding something to the back of the car as well. Hope that makes sense.

Looks great. Once I can save up some cash I will likely be going with the classic CDC chin spoiler.... my only decision is whether to paint it black or keep it matte black. What do you think?? Have you had any issues with paint chipping after you painted yours?

Also, does it sit slightly lower than stock or even?

No, I actually think it brings it more in line with the rest of the car. Anytime I looked at the car from an angle I thought the front fascia didn't come as low as the rocket panel skirts under the doors and the rear, so if anything, I think the addition of the spoiler cleaned all that up

Looks great! Mind if I ask how much it cost to have the chin spoiler painted?

It does lower it just a bit so you will have to be careful with it. IMO, I'd paint it to match your color black rather than matte. Since I only installed it yesterday, I haven't driven it enough to have any paint chips.

Texxas Guy.... about $125
