Default Hi Friends...can anyone recommend a good cleaner for the following:

18" (not that size matters...except for the girlfriend...har har...ok sorry) Seriously though, I have the stock polished aluminum wheels and it looks like there's some type of sun spot type of thingy that won't take a hike with wheel cleaner. Anyone recommend a cleaner or polish...I don't think a spray cleaner will do the trick but you never know (you people tend to know everything).

THANKS!!

I would try one of the good wheel polish pastes as long as it is not clear coated over the chrome, personally never seen that wheel up close. Maybe even a dremel with a cotton buffer wheel as well.

You should try the new polishing wheels which fit into a drill - Mothers and Flitz both have one each with their own special version. Flitz polish will probably be your best bet to get the polish back - it will also retain the look longer. I've used Flitz for a long time - it's even great in a salt water environment where most polishes/protectants fail. That said - I actually bought the Mothers Power Ball as it was easier to find at the local auto parts store.

and the Flitz product - which can be used on metal, plastic and paint - http://www.flitz.com/
