According to "Shooting Cars" on Speed .... The S197 Shelby GT 500 is ... oh wait ... that's not a GT ...

I would think either the older GT 350s or GT 500s.. (if you can call those "GTs") or the S197.

Do you mean stock or do aftermarket mustangs count?

I beg to differ.....I realize the S197 is a solid low/mid 13second car(in the proper hands), but what about the '68 1/2 428CJ GT? A mid year option from the factory, grossly under rated 335hp(more like 400hp) with good tires a low 13 second car, barely nipping the S197? Whaddya think?
