California drivers with GTs

RE: California drivers with GTs
Yes, if you have a GT you do have at least the 2 dimples.
I got my GT after it came off the transportation truck with 3 miles on it and no front holes were drilled. I had to sign a waiver at the dealership to acknowledge that I picked it up without holes or a bracket.
I was once pulled over in Hollywood on a Sunday afternoon after making a right turn. They had several doughnut eaters waving over drivers at a kind of inspection point. You wouldn't know they were there until you made the right turn! They wrote me up for having no front plate on my old Del Sol.
If the local civil servant crooks in your area are installing those cameras at intersections this may occur where you live. Keeping the front license plate in the car might be a good idea, but be sure to have a drill and install the plates in front of the flat foot!
I'm not in favor of anyone ever running stop lights, just want to have clean lines on my car's front end!

Mine came with the dimples. In fact, the dealer asked me if I wanted the front plate installed. I know on eBay there is a guy selling a braket for the GT where you don't have to drill. If you must have one, I'd get that one.
Not sure where in SoCal you live, but you have to ask yourself a question: If you happen to "squeeze" a yellow light, and go thru an intersection with the infamous "red light" cameras that snap a picture of your front plate and mail you a ticket for $361, wouldn't you rather risk getting a fixit ticket for far less by not having a front plate? I don't squeeze yellow lights much, and I certainly don't run reds on purpose, but it's something you may want to ask yourself.
I'm just sayin'...

Why would they only film the front license plate when they know the larger percent ( id say 100% but you just cant do that... ) has a rear license plate? Just doesnt make much sense to me. [&:]
