Will 16" V6 wheels fit GT?
I want to make sure that the stock 16" wheels from my 2006 mustang V6 will fit a 2006 mustang GT. Will the 16" wheels fit on the GT without any rubbing of the breaks?
I need an answer really fast, so reply if you know.

You Need at least a 17" wheel to clear the front brakes, the rears will clear, you can get a relocation kit and move the front caliper to clear the smaller wheels, which involves some cutting and grinding. that way you can go all the way down to 15", ppl are doing it to run 15" Bogarts on the track. It'll cost you a few hundred. Question is why do you want to go down in size.

Maybe he's building a "sleeper"? That would be sweet. Had I not bought my 4.0L vert, I would have gotten a GT coupe, and made it into a V6 clone (reverse-poser).
Regardless of his intentions, there is a company that is offering the V6 Hallibrand-style wheel in 17 inch (17x8 I believe, but they may have wider rims too). They look really good, and most casual observers would think they are the V6 rims.
