Oh no, what did I do...

Oh no, what did I do...
My car is only about 1 month old and I baby it more than I will my first child. lol
It's got leather interior, which is important to the story.
Yesterday I went to pick up a Pizza. I decided to pick it up rather than have it delivered so I could drive my car (any excuse to drive my car lol).
When I got the pizza, I set it on the passenger floor. I don't put anything on my seats except human *****, and I don't even like those being on my seats.
When I get home, I walk around to the passenger side, reach down, grab the pizza and lift it out of the car.
I was careless though and it breaks my heart.
I had my keys in my hand and as I lifted the pizza out, one of my keys (the key for my home safe, which is actually quite sharp for a key) caught the seat and made a deep, deep scratch in the leather.
I almost cried and am still on the verge of crying.
I felt so awful. I think to cheer myself up I'm going to give her a nice wash and wax, then take her for a long, country drive.
Anyway, that's all.

How long is the scratch and where is it? There are products that cost $10 - $50 that can repair leather seat damage depending on the location, size, etc.
If these dont' work, you can try going to the dealer and just getting the damaged section replaced. Not sure if this is covered by warranty. Good luck!

If it really bugs you to the point you can't live with it, go to an auto trim\upholstry shop and get an estimate. You might be surprised how reasonable it is to have them swap out one small panel of leather. Good luck.

BTW, unless you scratched the center part of your seats, with all the little holes, you scratched vinyl. So you will need to look for a vinyl repair kit.

+1 .. they say leather seats.. but the seats are not 100% leather.. should be against the law IMHO..
best of luck.. I know the feeling I still need a right rear seat cover.. ( long story )
HEY:::: MAYBE you and I can get together and buy the whole take off kit.. and you can have the front seats and I will take the back seats.. if you have dark gray/ black..?? send me a PM if you would like..
