new mustang gt - fair price?
Hey all-
Have made a decision to purchase a mustang gt. I currently have a subaru wrx, but...but...I had an 87 5.0 in high school so that will hopefully validate me.
Anyway, I am not sure what kinf of price I should expect to negotiate with a dealer. I would like to purchase the following: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=130039299230 but I am not sure what to offer.
Any ideas from you guys that have purchased one recently?
Thanks for your help.

RE: new mustang gt - fair price?
I've been shopping GT convertibles in Richmond VA for the last 2 weeks.
Prices have ranged from Invoice - $170 to Invoice + $600
Invoice for your car is $27490 and there is a $500 rebate from Ford so
invoice minus the rebate is $26990.
The BIN price is $27991 so they're asking $1000 over invoice.
You might get a better deal with a local dealer.

RE: new mustang gt - fair price?
I have personally bought 12 ford automobiles. In my experience on a thirty thousand dollar car from ford you can walk out for 4-5k below sticker price. Give or take a little this car is 29k but you have to remember the taxes that you are goin to have to pay on it whenever you get it titled. Now the only problem that you have right now is that it is a 2007 so you arent going to get that much off. I just got a sweet deal for my friend that bought a 2006 with every option minus convertable for 24.5k walkout. If you can wait I would because 500 bucks off is a joke on american made cars.
