Your #1 biggest factor, BY FAR, is how you drive. If you drive with a lead foot, expect poor mileage.

My car is barely broken in and I'm getting 19.7mpg (based on leaving the computer rolling since I got it) when I don't drive like a psychotic person.
I took it out this weekend and finally let it rip a few times and this got a several week old rolling average down .5 mpg and I burned a 1/4 tank of gas in about 20 miles of driving Doing 0-60 as fast as possible all the time will burn a crapload of gas no matter what you did to the motor. I'm guessing I was getting around 4-6mpg when I was stomping on it.
As you make the motor more efficient, tune it and make it breathe better, and use higher octane gas (which is what you do when you increase horsepower) your mileage under normal conditions should actually get better. If you install a 4.10 axle it might go down.

Before the blower I never had a tank below 20mpg.
Since the blower I have not had a tank over 20mpg. Best so far 19.5mpg, usually 17mpg.
This is not based on the dash readout, I don't have one, I record the info when I get gas.
Yes, I am positive that spasms in the right foot have had a negative effect on milage. This is difficult to avoid.
Is it worth it, HELL YES!

As a quick note, don't trust the display the computer has. It is not accurate.
The only way to compute your mileage accuratley is to calculate it yourself based on fill-up volume and your odometer reading.

Town driving before Supercharger was 14.7, after SC it is averaging 13.8 - but that is according to the dash readout. I haven't calculated it the old fashioned way. I have gotten as high as 23mpg on the freeway.

I checked mine a few times and the calculating old fashion way was pretty close to the computer readout, maybe .2 off.
