Dressed Up My Tube
NO, NO, NO...Not that tube, my Granatelli CAI tube, LOL
Well first off, let me say I love my Granatelli set-up. I have the satin kit, Now when I had seen pics of it, it really looked good IMO, so I went with that instead of the polished [&:]. Now the satin tube that I had gotton, had a few small scratches on it and also had some small patches of discoloration. Ok, no big deal, I fiqure that would be something to addresss later. Well over the weekend, I felt like tackling the tube [sm=smiley36.gif]. used VHT gloss black paint, stainless fuel line kit, and Power Adder Stainless mesh filter made by Spectre performance, which just has an Awesome look to it!! [sm=drooldude.gif], best part is its a stainless steel filter and needs NO oil, same as the Granatelli filter that is supplied with the kit. Plus what I like about the Power Adder filter is, it is a tad smaller then the Granatelli one, so it fits better with out rubing on the brake lines. Got every thing at AutoZone, and all I can say is WOW, it really came out sharp.
here are some before and after Pics.....

RE: Dressed Up My Tube
Hey moose what exactly is the difference between oiled and non oiled filters? I have never heard anyone talk about the difference... even though CAIs are one of the most posted about topics on this forum lol.
