It's been call overweight, portly, big fat pig on nearly every post concerning it, where have you been???? I'd love a GT500, white, stripe delete(rocker stripes too) with some 20" charcoal Foose Nitros and that sick Roush upgrade. So what color is your Shelby?
I'm just teasing! Call me crazy, but I'd rather have a GT500 over a Z06, why? I'm a Mustang freak! As to that Lingenfelter upgrade, yeah, $50K price tag, I doubt the Roush upgrade with the necessary tuning and other related items would cost $10K, if that. Let's see the Z06 'Vette tuners/sympathizers get 700 large for under $10K.....that's why I said, "okay Z06 guys, your turn". Okay, I've explained my POV........[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Well the guilty dog barked first. LOL Where have I been? I have been to lots of forums and everyone I have read about bashing the 500 doesn't have one including YOU. I really don't care if people bash it because they don't know, just making a statement. It's kinda like the Harley stuff "if you have to ask, you wouldn't understand" Anyway, if you are ever in Houston, let me know and we can go for a ride in my pig. You'll end up thinking they can fly. Beautiful car man, lucky SOB! No, I'm just stating how everyone else seems to tease the GT500 for being near 2 tons, I don't have a prob with the weight. I'm glad to see you called me on that one. Yes!!!!!! Just looking at your ride make me wanna get in to some serious debt! Have fun man, are you planning on that Roush upgrade?

i love the car, and for 46k its a bargain to compare that to the 70k zo6, but its going for 70k right now also because of markups. If i could even afford to get one, lmao, I wouldnt now. I could see how you couldnt have waited for it to go lower

Umm. Sure, with enough grunt, anything can be fast. It is a nice car, just too heavy for my taste and exectuted wrong. I actually like the looks of the GT nose and interior alot better, including the wheels, etc.

I love my mustang. But the ZO6 looks nice. Given a choice if I werent driving it every day, I would take a ZO6. BUT, for a daily driver, mustang ot GT500 all the way.

The ZO6 is a strange car in that the build quality is about on par with a 30K dollar mustang, and the performance is on par with a 250K dollar ferrari. A porsche is definatly a more well rounded performance car for the money.
