Default Best color for easy clean/wax

I have owned red and black Mustangs . I think a black car, if clean and waxed is unbeatable. I loved my black Mustang but it was very had to keep lookin really clean for longer than a week. I now have a satin silver GT vert and wash it once a week, have waxed it once and it really doesn't show dirt streaks, water marks, etc like the black (and to a lesser extent, the red).

Is this the best color for reasonable maintenance?

Yes, Silver by far is the easiest color to maintain over black and red

I love my silver, I wash it once a week on the weekends I get alot of compliments, and at night when the metal flake breaks out under the lights its sweet as hell. If I had to choose a different color than this though, it would be the vista.

Are there any special wax or exterior care products just for silver or do all work the same? Thans for your answers.

Stay away from black!! Looks great when it's clean or for the first 1/2 hour after you've washed it, whichever comes first.

Silver as well. I used the NXT paste wax from Mequires and it gives it that wet look.

Hey do you have any pics of your car after waxing? I just used Meguiars 3 step system and I wanna compare it with the NXT. Ive heard its really good but never actually seen it.

Lol @Ken. My friend has a black car and she is tired of always cleaning it, though she waxed it this weekend and I must say it looked good. But youre right, 30 mins later it was dirty again lol.

I have a silver Nissan Titan and a silver Camry, both don't show the dirt very much. I've had white vehicles before and they're not bad for looking clean even when they aren't. We're trading in the Camry on a red Mustang this week. Yes it will be harder to keep clean looking, but to me there's just something about a red Mustang !
