just purchased a used sct tuner. anything special i need to do to load the program? Ive tried to remove the fuel and fan fused #21, 25,28 but program wont load.

You dont need to remove any fuses.

What error is it giving you? Are you sure the original vehicle was returned to stock?

it just says wrong vehicle now . a few times it said timed out. I cant guaranty it was return to stock but the seller said it was...guess i'll be calling brenspeed tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure the SCT needs to be programmed to your car's computer--when you buy them new, the programmer gets your code from you on the sticker on your ECM. If your computer doesn't have the same code as the one that the SCT was programmed with, you might be out of luck until you get it reprogrammed.

Its saying it wrong vehicle because the original owner never returned it to stock. Your pretty much SOL, although ive heard SCT will fix it for you. Cant confirm they will though.

Edit: also the seller says v6 or v8 that is incorrect. If he has tunes for a v8 and you have a v6 you could royaly hurt something.
