Is it me or my driving habits or maybe I am just freak..Anyways, how much do you have to depress your clutch until your clutch grabs and you can go. It seems as if I have to depress my clutch 3/4s before it catches the flywheel. Am I the only one experiencing this or did my hard shifting and a few 360s catch up to me at 4K miles? All and any info will be greatly appreciated

You know, someone told me that only pressing the clutch 1/2 way between shifts will wear it out. Since then I've gotten into the habit of pressing the pedal to the floor everytime. Is that a myth?

It should be fully released; if halfway truly does it then you are fine. If it is not fully released the you will grind when shifting.
pushing it to the floor is a reliable and safe way (usually) to prevent grinding.
What will wear out your throwout bearing though is resting your foot on the clutch pedal or keeping partly depressed while driving.....or keeping it in gear with the clutch depressed all the time while sitting at traffic lights.

Hello there fellow stang crazy people. 6xstang is correct and then bomb79 is also correct. If it really bothers you, get a quick click firewall adjustment kit (I got mine from UPR) and you can adjust your clutch. it cost $20.00 and you need no tools and can be adjusted in seconds without hardship. good luck!
