Actually, is sounds a little quieter...

To me, the clip in ninosport.com, i think that mustang has a x pipe or something else, it's just too loud for a "stock" shelby gt muffler.

It actually sounds pretty good, not to loud, not to quiet. But for my taste, it's too quiet.

The Superior Mufflers really sound the best at arround 2.5k and up range, below that, it's just a little bit quiet.

Id buy this axle backs if you want a slight "upgrade" from your stock muffler, it really sounds better than stock.

So hey tpafire5, at what rpm range does the stingers get too drony?

If you dont like them, maybe we could arrange a trade + $$$ (lol)

1500-2000, it just sucks in stop and go traffic. in normal traffic you can just drive around it.

I have these on my car and I agree they aren't loud, but offer a nice upgrade from stock and sound relatively "stock-like' with deeper muscle car sound. They do "season" a bit over time, and mine have gotten a little louder, have a good pulse at idle and off the line. I sold my Stingers a few months back after having them on for two weeks, since they were a little too loud for me and the dreaded "drone zone" which was quite significant 1500-2000 RPM and peaked at 1800.

Here is a good before and after clip of my Supreme performance mufflers from stock.
