Default 1/8" Auxillary Jack

Ok now, there's this standard feature on the '07 model that allows you to directly connect an ipod or some other mp3 player you choose directly to the auxillary on the Shaker? Two questions: 1. Can it be controlled through the radio buttons? 2. Can a kit be purchased though Ford and attached to my '06 model Shaker system?

I connected a Sandisk mp3 player using the aux jack (located inside the center compartment) and was not able to control it using the radio buttons. Maybe it will control an ipod though, it seems most mp3 accesories are tailored for the dam ipod.

It's an input only - so when the radio is on AUX input it allows the sound to go through the factory radio from a device with a headphone jack. It doesn't control anything - just lets the sound in.
