pxdig search part I
All right, here goes.
I have decided to post my Mustang search on this forum in the hopes that some will find it entertaining and might give some opinions or advice, which I guarantee I will always consider. The story begins like this; I became a HUGE Mustang fan after high school. Unlike most of the motor-heads my attraction was to the looks of the car as well as the history of it. In the following years (I’m 38 now) I owned several mustangs which included a 1974 Mustang II, a 66 289, and currently a 97 coupe V6. I never owned a GT since I’m not into speed. The extra cash for gas, insurance, and the price of the car make it unattractive. This all changed when I started lurking this website. I have a dire desire to own a GT, and my 97 is giving me constant mechanical trouble, despite the fact that I really take great care of my cars.
I have about $21K in cash that I am willing to part with as long as it buys a 2005-6 Mustang GT. My plans are for louvers, ground to ground stripes, and some nice wheels. I also own a great looking Harley Davidson that I can’t seem to customize anymore than it already is, so a tricked out pony is the next project.
Today I started calling and shopping around. I will keep this forum posted on my search for my first GT. I don’t want to annoy or otherwise bore any of the readers, so I will always title the thread “pxdig search” so disinterested readers can simply skip it. And if I can figure out how to post pictures I will make sure I post them as I go. Thanks….

Awesome! The search for your mustang might be challenging at some points, but be patient and don't settle for anything less than your dream car. It will definitely be worth it in the end. Good luck and keep us posted.
