For $600, you could just take it to the dealer and have it changed for a lot less. There's really no need to check it anyway.

For about a hundred more you could get a stall converter and have it installed.

604.00 is Absurd. A Mag-Hytec pan is only around 300.00 and the Yourcovers pans are even a little less depdning on how you get one.

Granted they mostly sell Truck pans but still the cost is way out of line for that pan with or without a dipstick

pricey! for that much you should just drop the pan and change the fluid once a year.

getting your tranny fluid changes at the dealer will not get you two quarts more capacity in your tranny pan and lower temps. This upgraded pan is a cast aluminum finned pan with 2 quart added capacity. It also has a drain plug. Now you can drain it without removing the pan. It also adds the dipstick tube. This allows you to add fluid and check level of fluid. That may be worth 600 dollars to some of us!

Im not sure about 600 bucks, but definately around 4... As of right now, we have no way of changing our own fluid or even checking it. Plus like kopf said, increased fluid capacity and cooler temps are also a big +. Also, is our current pan steel or aluminum... Maybe we can look forward to losing a little weight with this new pan as well?
