MINERAL GRAY vs. TORCH RED OPINION's

I currently have a 05 GT Auto in Torch Red with 3,000 miles and have been contemplating on going to a stick. Theres one with 5,000 miles and similar options about an hour away in Mineral Gray but Im not sure I like/love the color(atleast just yet anyway). My goal is to get into a stick tranny with similar miles/options. Anyhow what I really would like to know is what kind of {("UP KEEP")} goes with the color???? Is it similar to black where it looks dirty in 5 minutes or is it like Silver where you dont have to wash it LOL. Ive put a lot of miles on the car the past couple weeks driving all over the state to find other ones molested to my disapointment followed by jerky assanine salesmen so Im trying to get some insight before I persue this further. Anyone who can post some pix of there mineral gray stang would also be a pleasure to see! Thanks so much everyone

Dear Drew470000000,

Not meant to confuse you but I have always loved red in a sports car...

But, since my last two cars were red, I chose the Silver Satin w/red leather interior this time...

I also have a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Mineral Grey so I wanted something similiar but a little different too...

It's all up to you... If you want a Mustang GT w/5 spd then shop around for a clean red one too, just to be totally sure before you buy it...

You are the only one who has to live with it so be happy and get the right one for you...

Good Luck, Dave

Hey Drew,
I find the up keep on the MG to be fairly painless....Certainly not as intense as Black, but I don't think quite as easy as Silver...MG has a tendicy to look different, in different light conditions. Mine looks very light colored right after waxing, looks dark when it's cloudy out. I usually use the California Duster on it most every night, because the environment I work around is pretty dusty....I then usually end up washing every other weekend, and wax at least once a month.....When the car is looking very light in color, the gold metal flake really pops on it, and when it's looking dark, not so much......

Mike
