I think that it is a muscle car. No way that thing is a supercar. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and the like are supercars.

some people may disagree but ive always seen a supercar as a car capable of 190+ which the gt500 is not in stock form. (Im sure it might could but the factory tune limits it to 155 i believe)

Sorry but it's a Muscle Car!
A super car will have the latest, greatest technical and mechanical advances and the GT500 lacks almost all of those!
Look at the list of Ferraris that fail to meet the status. And don't say that speed has anything to do with it! Anyone can make a Pinto go 190mph!

ya the GT500 isn't a supercar
However I don't think of the C6Z06 as a supercar either
But the "FORD GT" is
There are way to many vettes out there for it to ever be a supercar
And I think a supercar can't have a cheaper ver available as in C6 and C6Z06 or (mustang and the V6, GT, and GT500)
they didn't make a V6 (or even a less powerful ver) enzo or MC12 or CCX and those are supercars

I dunno here where i live i see more ferraris and lambos than z06s here. But every 5 feet is a c6

I don't consider the GT500 or the Viper or even the new Z06 supercars because the GT500 doesn't perform or look like a supercar, they are building 32,000 of them so they aren't rare, and they are under $100,000. The viper is close but it is under $100,000, and they aren't that rare. The only reason I don't consider the Z06 a supercar is because it is under $100,000. That should be considered a compliment for Chevy because if you can make a $70,000 car that can outperform most supercars, than you have made true American Muscle.

That being said my all time top 5 favorite supercar's are:

1. Ford GT

2. Koenigsegg CCX

3. Koenigsegg CCR

4. Saleen S7

5. Buggatti Veyron (Just based on performance, because I think it's ugly as $#@%)

I think that you can order that as an option now, but it takes the top speed down from 250mph to 230mph.

watch the ep it allows it to corner better
its actuly functional

Think before you type

watch both eps and you'll see as well as Top gear sujested the spoiler and is now standard and even allowed the car to go faster as at high speeds it would lose traction and by adding the spoiler it gets just enough down force to not lose traction and go a little faster
