I was on my way home from picking up dinner a little earlier this evening and on the main road back to my house an older body style Saleen 99/04 whines on by me with his blower and revs at me. So I give in and pull up next to him and give him the nod he hits it with me about a car length behind him then I hit it and it was bye bye from there I probably pulled 4 cars and kept pulling.

This was from a 45 roll and at the next light he just nodded his head in disappointment as I stared with a big grin. Thought i'd share the story, not exactly sure what the older Saleen's are capable of but I took him pretty easily. He was definately blown and just for reference he had Florida tags and had the license plate "18 S281" extremely easy to remember. Thought it was funny because I just read a post about being on the wrong side of the road whenever looking for a race and I definately not expecting this one.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised also. I've run them at the track before and normally they run pretty consistent 13's as do I.

Aren't those year S/C'd Saleens rated at around 360/365 HP? Wow! He should've shown you tail lights. Maybe his car is ailing? Maybe you're just a bada$$ driver! Good one!

yeah dude either ur a badass driver and he sucks at driving or his car is messed up. That shouldn't have happened I don't think lol. Pretty sure like said above, he shoulda shown u tailights. but props![sm=icon_rock.gif]

there is one that isn't supercharged. it's called the s281 lol. the other is the s281 supercharged, then the s281 extreme ie the 550hp monster.

haha i know it was a young kid right, well if it was that thing isn't even supercharged and i've raced him before and had 2-3 lengths on him coming out of first once i hit second i went to 5-6 lengths and he gave up, yeah that white one isn't even a saleen but its still fun to play with them against their 2V engines lol, i'm almost postive the one you raced is the same kid i'm thinking of
