Friends with Mustangs today=ZERO
When I ws in high school, myself, my brother and many of my friends were able to walk into a Ford dealership and buy a brand new Mustang GT or LX 5.0's while working a part time job and putting down minimial dollars. My payment with about $1000 down was $220 a month on my '90 LX which cost just over 11K. Kids and adults could enjoy a new Stang.
In my parts, I drive by my old high school on my way to work every day and do not see any new GT mustangs driven by high school guys or gals. Just to put things in perspective, is there any younger forum members able to afford $25,000 Mustang's? Makes a good case for a GTS or LX 300 HP stripped version for the very low 20K range.

Up in Portland Oregon.
Big Raiders fan.
He has an '05 v6 5 speed, black with white rocker panel stripes, and a silver/grey interior.
It took me so long to talk my wife into letting me get one, the '06's were out, lol.
I blame him for me falling in love with this Mustang styling, but in a good way.
My wife blames him in a bad way, lol.
So I had a custom shift **** made for him, a Raiders billiard ball.
Looks great in his car.

Besides all you guys here 
I only have one. Me and him have been friends since
2nd grade! We are freshman in college now. His is the
2000 Mustang V6 Silver in my signature. My other
best friend is gonna try and trade his 2002 F-150 in for
a mustang.

I don't know a single other person that has a Mustang. Might be my age and family situation. My family and friends all look at me with disdain mixed with a touch of envy over my automotive preference. I think that they think I'm being too flashy and impractical for being 44 with a daughter in college and another 9 years old, yet most of them drive cars that cost as much or more, and get worse gas mileage. They know I'm not a flashy person, I don't wear any jewelry, tats or even clothes that are remotely nice or in style.

Buddy of mine has another 2006 Mustang V6.
The buddy i'm jealous of has an 2006 S281 Extreme!!!! This car screams like a beast!! it is the greatest sound i've heard.
Another buddy of mine has a 69' he's currently working on.

My roomate has a beat up 03 sixer but he doesnt respect it and care about it so he doesnt really count and my other buddy has a 5.0 that runs low 12s with plenty of mods.
