Glad you like your hood pins. IMHO they are "out of position" to where the should actually be. Too far up and too close together.

sorry for taking long to reply.
I will take pics from inside today.
as with the hood shake--- thing is Im not in the US - Im in Czech Rep and local Ford doesnt import Stangs here so they know f--k about Stangs.
As with installation recommodation - anyone mechanically skilled with carefull approach will be able to do that Im sure.
