I'm working my finances right now so I could order a 2007 GT Premium in Feb '07 (before the cut-off date for factory orders) with all the options and colors. However, I'm thinking about waiting until the 2008 models to see if I can get a Bullitt or a Boss which I won't be able to do that if I pull the trigger on the '07. What would you do?

If you can wait, I would. This is coming from somebody who picked up his '07 GT this week. I couldn't wait and my finances finally allowed for it so I went for it. If you have the luxury of waiting, though, it might be a good idea. Just in case they come out with something really awesome. That's my $0.02.

The dealers will rape those cars just like they have the other specials. If you want to get a car soon then go for the GT, if you want to wait until the end of 2008 then maybe the 2008 special editions won't be so bad.

I'll have until mid February to decide since that's about the latest you put in for a factory built order. By then we may know more about what next year will bring. Ford needs some competition. Come on GM and Chrysler with the Camaro, Firebird, and Challenger so I can get what I want at a FAIR price!
