Default RE: Chrome Tips other than Ford?

I am looking to ad the chrome or polished tips over the existing stock GT system that has 3" pipes. I would like to end up with 4" outlet at the end. Keep the ideas coming! Thanks

Fast,
The stock tailpipes are 3"x9" or so. They are slash cut and the tip of the slash is approx. 9" from the muffler. Any bolt-on or clamp-on tip that fits properly, would have to be a minimum of about 3 and 1/16th x anything less than 10".

Here's a pic or two.

The size doesn't leave many options. Take a look at this page and see if there are any that you like:

The inlet size could be modified if there was sufficient interest.

I shopped far and wide before I bought the MRT's. They are 3" to 3.5".....look fantastic and easy to install.

Borla/FRPP Axelbacks are 4" rolled stainless tips....that's what I have on my car and I love the sound and the way they look.

Come on Aftermarket Suppliers! I had a C5 Corvette and there were many choices of aftermarket Chrome tips to add to your stock exhaust. Ford probably sells 10 times as many Mustangs and we only have the Tips from Ford???? Someone is missing a great opportunity!

Are the tailpipes (not the tips) actually 3" from the factory? If they are 2.5" instead, that opens up a lot of options. If someone can confirm, we can see what is available.

They are 3". No doubt about it.
