Torque is basically cubic inches. That’s why in the old days the companies made bigger and bigger motors. The more cubic inches a motor the less it has to work to make HP. That is one reason our little 281 engines have such a hard time with the GM small block motors as they are 350 cubic inches. We have to make more power and launch at higher rpm to get the car moving because of the lower torque. One way to think of it is torque gets you moving and hp carries you through the top end.

One day you'll wake up and realize you bought a 25k kick *** car, it's not a Vette killer, it's not a G35 killer nor a 350z killer, Mustang owners as far back as I can remember always bash Ford, yet Ford put the Camaro and Firebird and every other wanna be Mustang out of business. Maybe they did something right??? Even back then when the Stang was a 302motor a trans and rear with a whole lot of plastic around it, it still sold! The 95 Mustang model has got to be the worlds worst interior of a car, the ****ing shifter was so out of place you couldn't shift it right and yet it still sold! These are the same people that used the same plastic latch on the center console from 1986ish to 1993 and after using the center console twice it would break so when you slapped some mods on, it would fly open, and yet the car still sold!
How many mustangs had both front Fog lights working? **** how many actually had both lens? Yet they still sold. How about the fact that a 2004 Mustang was designed in 1979? Few of the noobs probably don't know that yet they still sold them.

Ford gave us the best stang of all time, just be happy, because they could have delivered more crap from the previous models and it would still sell!

I drive a Stang because it's who I am, not because it can beat another car.

Id still like to see a shorter, wider, lower to the ground Mustang Roadster with good suspension and a powerful engine... itd be nice to have some American muscle put these little foreign cars to shame in the straights AND the twisties.
a roush stage 2 handles better than most super-high end cars (1.02 g of lateral accel)
