Default trq converter EAT the hp ?

05 mustang GT ( auto ) with :

- cmop stag2 cams.
- 3.73 ratio
- headers
- exust Borlla :lala
- K&N GII
- program predator :dunno ?????????????????????????
- roush pulleys
- Meizer Electric Water Pump

I'm putting down 314hp and 311trq ( I think it's fine ) no spray

And then:

- 3000 trq stall ( TCI )
- Autolites 1 degree colder for the zex

dyno again and I was surprised 275hp and 265trq no spray

after modifying the parameters with that ( SEGA ) predator flash device it goes up to 280hp 

is true that the trq converter reduce the hp on dyno ?
Any advice of using that flash device ( predator ) ?

hmm thats a strange one. Sometimes dynos can give funky results. I would run it again I don't think those readings are correct. You shouldn't have lost power especially that much. Was there a huge difference in tempature from the last time you ran it?

There shouldn't be hardly any difference with a 3000 stall converter. It's when you get a high stall converter upwards of 4000 or more that you will see a decrease in HP at the dyno. You still have that HP but the dyno doesn't read it.

To kind of get back on topic, well sort off, LOL

Wheres the best place to buy Stall Converters from, for our Gen Stang, also thinking about going with either a 4.10, but more likely 3.9 rear gears, so what would be the best Stall speed conveter to go with??

just a test but try putting the stock heat range back in and dyno don't spray and see it the colder plugs are your loss because they might not be fully burning the gas when you don't have the spray going
