Caution

I am new to the forum thing- so whats up to all that read this. I'm heading to the track on Dec 2nd with some friends to do the 1/4 mile. I would like to get into the 12's but don't know if Moses (05GT) can do it. My friends say it'll never happen but we'll see here shortly. I'd like to get your advice from anyone with similar mods or anyone who just wants to voice an opinion. Here are my mods -

Moses 05GT- SCT Xcal 2 - Mac CAI - MMR TB spacer - JBA ST headers - Off Road Xpipe - 40 series FM axle back exhaust - Hurst short throw shifter - Tien lower springs - Edlebrock STB - Roush pulleys - Saleen 18X9 rims

One guy here ran 13.26? i think Stock so i dont see why not if you can hook it up and get a good 60'

Thanks Petepete- I think I'll do fine on the 60- I hope so anyway. This is my first time on the track. A buddy of mine has a STI with a complete upgrade to the exhaust and I'll take him from the line easy... no contest there... off the line Moses is mean- at least to an STI anyway

My bet is you won't simply because its your first time at the track, it takes practice. But good luck anyway.

If you do get in the 12's though it will be very high 12's. GOOD LUCK THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!

I have been trying to breal into the 12's om the stock 18" rubber. Just with a CAI and tune my best was a 13.2 @ 105.xx mph this past weekend still having traction issues in second gear, I ran a 13.192 @107.32 2.000 60' (had zoomer a/b).

I have now added the cmcv deletes, and have udp's waiting to go on. So I will be in the 12's now.

as far as you taking an STI from a stop, you need to wake up. WILL never happen, long as the person driving the sti has half a clue on how to drive it. Thry can hit 1.6's on the 60' all day long. Its called awd with a turbo.

if they dump the clutch at 4500 they can pull that hard from a dig, but if the driver has any idea what he is doing and he is stock he wont do that often at all. you could catch an 05 and lower (if the new body style started in 06 which i think it did). if you drive well it should be close, but with the new ones, if they really know how to drive they can hit 12's stock.

Well I guess that my buddy can't drive all that well since his AWD Turbo isn't doing to much for him... owell a win is a win. Good luck on hitting the 12's with the new mods... let me know if you do it
