the only thing i would want is a cobra block, other than than that i would rather have my car and my 3 valve. the 4 valve is good. but look at it like thisl. a terimator from the factory @8psi is what we have when we go blown . the 4 valve is awesome but we can get the same results becau w have vtc. but are blocks arent as good. but i wouldnt mind having both

I just noticed that ur a rich SOB. You gots a new GT500, Ford GT and a freakn viper SRT-10. Thats freakn unreal. If you ever get tired of the GT500 i'll take it off ur hands[8D]

I didn't vote cause thats a really close one for me. I think if I'd kept my last ride I would have sprang for a cobra. But he S197 really isn't a bad deal at all. Maybe I'm not a every weekend racer but here's what I like about the S197, 3-link rear suspension, solid chassis, ease of maintenance(at least at the shade tree level), comfortable(maybe too comfortable for a muscle car), good mpg for a V-8 even with 4.10s and 4.30s, etc etc.. I think the 3V heads will be really awesome maybe once tuners really sort these things out and really break into the ECU. I wish ford would have built the 3V motors as strong internally as the cobras and had given given us a 6th gear. As far as power, yeah its lacking compared to the LS and hemi motors but I just look at it as ford leaving us room to make our own improvements. Looks wise I like both equally. Just my 2 cents.

Had the opportunity to purchase a Terminator, just don't like the looks, crudeness of the architecture and the "oldness" of it. I will agree they are very fast, but they drink tons of fuel and are just old looking. I bought my S197 because it's the car I want(besides a GT500
) and it offers a much improved design, better platform to modify because of it's much stiffer chassis. The SN95s(which include the New Edge cars) are just gusseted up Fox bodies with a funky interior, I'd much rather have a '93 Cobra/Cobra R than any Terminator(call me nuts).

Theres no way Id trade mine. They only have 2 things better (IMO) which I will eventually replace on my car anyways, the transmission, and the engine. Otherwise my car is alot nicer.
