Default 2006 Twin Turbo Mustang

Found this on a Turbo Regal forum. He's only running 6psi because he is still working with the stock bottom end and heads. The set up is only $6500. Check it out.

Wow... a twin kit for our Stangs.. What exactly are the advantages of a twin over a single turbo? That looks awesome in the car.

From what I have been told a twin setup spools up quicker then a single, 2 turbos spooling 4 psi will rev up faster then 1 turbo spooling up to 8psi.
But I don't really like turbos so i havent checked on advantages of 2 verse 1.

Seems pretty sweet... and yeah I was never big on turbos either before because theyre mainly on imports but the more I hear about them the better I start to like them.

Well 2 turbos is a much easier install since you dont have to instal a turbo header and have the turbine being the lowest point in the car. A smaller turbo spools up way faster so ur hp will increase thruout the whole RPM range. Any links to that kit? I wanna see what it includes. I would be willing to pay 800$ more for a twin turbo setup if it brings enough toys with it.

First thing I noticed was no air filters. my turbos would be toast in 5 seconds were I live, along with the engine too i'm sure.

Looks like a very, very tight fit. I'll stick to the 1 turbo if i go that route. It's way cheaper and takes up less room.

What else were you gonna use that room for? [&:] And most turbo kits out are actually really close to 6500... less than a 1k difference...

The system uses filters.....they just weren't on the car in the pics. The TT system is by Turbo Horsepower (THP) and they have TT kits for the 2V, 3V and 4V.

I love the look of the TT under the hood and there is far less plumbing involved. This is definitely on the top of my FI list.
