Default Corsa exhaust owners

I was just wondering if any of the corsa exhaust owners dynoed their cars before and after the exhaust. It says on their web page to increase hp by 13 and torque by 9. This seems pretty unrealistic when everyone else is getting 0 to 2 hp increase. Just want to see what the real world results are from real people.

If I am not mistaken I went from 279.5HP to 286 on my dyno sheets not 9 but around 7 I would say. Surely something you wont feel but it surely does give the car more life when you floor it.

However Andrew that was with the x-pipe too if I read your sig correctly. Corsa does claim 13 hp with just their axlebacks. I dynoed 293 prior to the Corsas, and have just not had the time to do it after the Corsas, but it's a claim that I often think about b/c i don't think I felt any SOP difference before and after.

I doubt the x-pipes added any hp at all if not taken hp out. If I had the chance to do it again I wouldn't had gotten the corsa x-pipe it is a POS IMO. You have to cut out your current H pipe and clamp in the X pipe. I could had bought a true offroad X-pipe for like 90 bucks less and it would be a better fit.

I didn't notice an increase in power between stock and the corsas. I have both the axle back and x pipe. The appearance of the exhaust and tips are impressive. With the x-pipe the car became quieter as well as smoother during deceleration. I paid approx 160 for the axle back and 60 for install. I wouldn't do the x pipe IMO. The soon to be released shelby mustang gt has an x-pipe so I'm assuming there must be some value to it?

casdds11: Am I reading your post right? Did you pay 160 for Corsa axle backs? If so, where did you get them?

$160??? I thought I did good finding them for $450. The sound is much better and the car seems to run a little bit better, but I don't have any numbers to back it up.

You did really good at $450. That's why I am asking. I'm seeing $600+ right now.

I did 500 on ebay but with free shipping ^^. Like I said the gain on the exhaust swap is not something you will feel. The stock exhaust is one of the best exhaust I have seen from the factory in a while. It is more of a like thing. If you are looking for hp gain then this mod would be one of the last ones to do.

I do realize that the stock exhaust was good already. I was just wondering if the website claim was factual. I didn't believe them so I wanted to get first hand experience of what kind of gains were gained. So, they are pretty much like any other axle back minus the drone. Thanks guys for you input.
