Default 2005 Ford Racing CAI

I purchased a Ford Racing CAI kit from this guy. It is the air filter and performance tune that he bought for his Mustang GT, then decided to buy a supercharger. The Calibration tool still has the original performance flash on it, but when I tried to flash my Mustang, I got a PCM hardware mismatch. My car is a 2005 stock Mustang GT, Manual Transmission and Stock gears and his was a 2006 with similar options. I have already paid him for this and am stuck. Do I have any options as Ford Racing doesn't seem to have a process to deal with this???

You should take it to a Ford dealer since it is FRPP. They will help and you will have a Ford warranty on the work.

He may not have flashed it back to the Stock configuration. At least with the SCT XCal2, you have to do that before you can move to another car.

He says he did and I think the problem is that the flash is for a different PCM than he had.
