the extender pipe is just a peice of tube taht is X amount of inches thick with the same side outside diamiter so it will slide right over the factory pipe and you can just clamp it in, it was like $3, its a solid metal pipe, not flex pipe

bottom end stayed about the same, but above 3k the car pulls alot harder then it did stock

Yah i mean it just depends on how loud you want it and what your comfortable driving around in .... its your stang and what makes you happy .... my friend has a vette with no mufflers and its really loud .... he turned it on next to me one time when i wasnt looking and i literally jumped but i mean it doesnt sound horrible just too much "noise" for me ...and when your in it you cant really hear music or anything ... and the other downside is he cant get away with anything when he tries to run it its soo loud and draws a lot of attention makin it easier to get spotted by the cops... but if you want loud go for it .... post a sound clip when you do it ... im interested on how it sounds.

good luck man !

no, you will gain more top end horsepower, so your car will pull harder up top but the same down low so it will feel like you lost horsepower and torque, you want as little backpreasre as possible

My car with strait piped mufflers and x-pipe gets up there in the sound range when I get on it, but also keeps a good tone.
