Depends on if I use my Mega Plush microfibers or the Waffle Weaves. It usually takes me about 4-5 Mega Plush and maybe 2 Waffle Weaves.

To dry off your cars, how many towels do you guys normally use?
I use pakshak.com waffle weaves and for the Mustang two of the 24x36 should be fine. I have discovered a nice little trick that i use on my F-150 due to it being so big. After washing and rinsing i mist the truck with the Poorboys S&W and then wipe all the heavy water off with the Ca. Water Blade the Jelly Version and then use about 3 of the WW to get it completely dry followed with compressed air to help blow out all the nooks and crannies.

+1 on the Jelly blade. It really cuts down on drying time. I finish off with a synthetic chamois but may switch to the waffle style wipe after hearing reviews here. I'm off for a ride right now and the stang is a little dusty. I may have to wash it later. Not much more driving time left here in upstate NY.

i don't know how many people here use Zaino products, but according to their site they don't recommend microfiber towels. they prefer 100% cotton towels. they also recommend using Dawn dish soap(which in any car care forum is a no-no from what i've read) for the initial first washing before applying any of their products. check this link out:http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...Q&Store_Code=Z

i wash and dry mine in the shade. i have shade because of trees, but with trees comes with birds. [:@] i've had a bird sh*t on my car twice the last 2 times while i was drying it. i totally agree drying, etc. in a covered area like a garage is the best thing to do. wish i had a garage. [&o] there is a difference in keeping a car clean and doing a good cleaning job.
Trees also deposit millions of tiny sap spots on my car so I avoid parking under them. I even had a tree trimmed way back that overhangs my driveway so I can use it to wash and wax my car next spring.

Dont get the car wet frist off and if it does than dri it quickly! Colorsanding will work if the paint is etched by acid rain or bird dropping left on!
