Front Bumper clear lights question???
Hi Everybody,
Just a quick question for those with the clear front bumper lights..
Do any of you have clear bulbs in the front portion and amber in the sides? Basically, I'd like to put clear bulbs in the fronts and still have the amber ones on the sides.. Is this possible??? Or better yet, is it legal??? If you did this, what bulbs did u put in for the fronts? If this is a bad idea I'll just shut up and color.. ha ha

do a search on " clear turn signal lenses " and you will find all the info you need. I just finished mine and I have the clear with a piece of amber reflector next to the marker lamp. I used the silverstar bulb on the blinker lamp so the yellow doesn't show except when illuminated, and the amber bulb on the side marker lamp.

Each front corner has TWO bulbs, one small one (size 194) for the side marker lamp, and the larger standard two filiment lamp, one filimant for the parking lamp and one for the turn signal flasher.

If your looking for clean bulbs that turn e yellow when the light is on check out here. http://www.stealthauto.com/Store/ I have clear leanses on my 05 GT and bought the bulbs from this company.Not cheap 60 bucks for the 4 bulbs.

You must have amber turn signals. No clear lights. I have the stealth bulbs and they are great! Do ugly amber until night time with the lights on!

markus51: You will need to check the website of your states DMV, in most states YES, it would be a violation, thats why you need to go with the stealth bulbs. AutoZone has Silverstar brand for the blinkers and they are 11.99 ( I have them and they are just what you need.
