The drivers side mirror cover rattles a lot, how can I remove the side mirror cover to install some felt material to get rid of the rattle?

You're talking about the inside triangular plastic cover? Don't take car for warranty for that, every waranty trip runs the risk of scratches, scrapes and dents on your car. Simply grab the cover with your hand, with the other gradualy go around prying it up gently with a thin but dull kitchen knife. It will pop right off and you can do whatever. I'd recommend taking a drive with the cover off to be sure that is your problem. If it is, I'd consider some clear silicone caulk as a solution (don't put a ton on there though, just a little on contact points)
