RE: 18x10 non deep dish bullitt rims, do they exist?
Thanks Emilie,
But I have been to that link about a million times already, going back and forth changing my mind etc. etc. so I know you guys don't carry any 18x10 Bullitt wheels that are not Deep Dish style for the 2005+ cars. That's why I was aking if anyone knows if that size wheel exists or if it has to be custom made or if you first buy the 18x9 and then have a shop widen it to 18x10.
I am suprised about 18x9 is the widest rim you say fits on the front. You sell only one size of GT500 replica wheels and they are 18x9.5 so they must be able to fit up front. Roush sell their stage 3 and 427R cars with 18x10 at all four corners with 275/40/18 and they don't have a problem. iluvmycar, who recently just put a set on has been posting pics etc. There are others on these boards with 18x10 up front too even some with a 285/40/18 tire. I contacted Steeda about their pentar star wheels that are 18x9.5 and while they wouldn't tell me the offset they garuanteed they would fit up front with out spacers, rubbing etc.

Those GT500's are what I have and I love them!

A place called Blue Oval Industries sells genuine Ford Chrome Bullits that are not deep dish. However, they are same as the stock 18 polished Bullits (18 x 8.5)

RE: 18x10 Bullitt non deep dish rims, do they exist?
Sorry Emilie,
Yes I was talking about 18x10 bullitts up front and when you said 18x9 was the widest rim for up front, I didn't know you were talking about strictly about bullitts.
Another reason that I just found out that I think is very important is that if I choose to go with an 18x9 DD bullitt wheel up front, I won't be able to upgrade to a larger front brake kit due to clearance. This seemed odd because it would be an increase in diameter from my stock 17s. But I went and checked several other forums and they all said the same thing, if you want to upgrade your brake kit up front, they won't clear with 18x9 DD bullitts. They will however, fit with the non DD 18x9 bullitt wheel. I guess this is because some DD wheels have the 1 to 2 step up before having the flat lip.
Since eventually, when my rotors and pads are gone, I would like to upgrade the brakes and I know many of you also think the stock brakes on these cars are not the greatest. I just don't want to have to buy a new set of rims because I didn't know the caliper won't clear.
I really like the look of the bullitts so that is why I keep asking about a non deep dish 18x10 bullitt style wheel with the correct offset.
