Default Motors to swap found!!

I finally found a couple of turn-key engines to use for a motor swap for our mustang-

5.0L Crammer Motor / 400hp - $15,999.00
5.4L GT 500 Motor / 500hp - $18,999.00
5.4" GT 40 Motor / 550hp - $36,000.00

What a deal!!

Is it entirely out of the question to try and fit a big block in our car? And Im sure we can find a better engine than the 5.0 for cheaper than that.. That is really expensive for a crate engine. The GT500 and 40 engines are just dumb, way too much money, not enough power.

I've dreamed about putting the GT40 motor in, replacing the supercharger will get you over 700+. But there really really expensive.

somewhere on here there was a video posted of a new Ford GT that this rich bastard put a twin turbo setup on. The thing was putting out over 1000hp!!! That was after they backed the boost and tune off a bit to make it safe. Safe for the motor i'm sure, but safe for the driver? i doubt

There was even a thread around here about it...

Certainly cool, but if you are trying to get the best bang for the buck, there are better, cheaper, easier ways to do it...

Yeah, that looks nice... I just want EFI, especially for a DD. Are there any other engines (besides Ford engines) that will fit in our engine bay? No doubt just about anything that gets put in will require tranny modification so why not look to other manufacturers for higher output engines?
