Something like this puts everything in perspective. Hate to see it happen, but that's the reality of it. If you break something, you have to pay for it.
There are a lot of people out there (and a lot on these boards as well) who will flog the hell out of their car, beat it to s***, and when something breaks, they come crying to their dealership "warranty, warranty, warranty!!"
I'm not saying you're doing this at all... But I am saying, a lot of people do it. For the most part, service managers are not stupid -- they will know a burned out clutch (or any other abused part) when they see it -- and they are going to write you for it. These guys see it all the time, so there is no reason to expect that they will not know what you were doing (and, if they look at all the chunks of dirt and rubber stuck to your quarter panels, they will know for sure). Expect to pay.
Something like this puts everything in perspective. Hate to see it happen, but that's the reality of it. If you break something, you have to pay for it.

that sucks.... but nice video hopefully youll have a cool tech and theyll write it up as something else because my friend did the same thing in his "scion" and they went back in his computer records and saw what happened and it didnt cover him ..... but hey at least you did it in a real car not a "scion" .
