Default Dyno Tune Results

Picked the car up from Torey at Excessive Motorsport last night. Lets start with the numbers..

297.49 RWHP
315.02 RWTQ

He said that mine is the strongest 3V so far with the mods I have. He had an '06 int he shop last week with VERY similar mods and it wouldn't get above 285HP/300TQ

He did away with the flat spots under acceleration which was one of my issued with the canned tune. Power delivery is now seamless.

The other issue was the OVERLY sensative throttle when cold in lower gears. He fixed that too. The only way I can describe it is it feels like the throttle is "two stage" like the trigger on a gun. If I drive the car normally and don't go past half throttle, it is more mild mannered than when it was in stock trim. HOWEVER, when I get on it hard, the car just TAKES OFF like never before.

To anyone that has a canned tune....SPEND THE MONEY for the dyno tune. It is more than worth the money. Just my opinion.

I agree. Not only will you get performance gains, they are safer. Nice numbers!

Nice numbers for only having a CAI. What type of dyno was this on?

What was your A/F and where was it measured?

Was it on a dynojet dyno?

Not trying to insult but those are SAE corrected right?

Really strong stang you have there!

Yes, Dynojet. Yes, SAE.

Based on my printout, the Air/Fuel looks to be in the 11-12 range.

The guys at Excessive said it was the strongest they've seen with only Intake and Exhaust.

It feels GREAT!!!!

By the way, had some detonation with the canned tune from Brenspeed, so +1 on Dyno Tunes being safer.
