Default Kid crashes father's $50k Mustang!!

Okay, cruel joke.. But seriously..

I've had this car since April and just noticed the other day that there is no trunk release button. I haven't been in any other S197s besides my own and I'm wondering if this is because I have a convertible. Is it so no one can open my glove box and pop the trunk if I decide to leave the car parked with the top down, or is there no release in the coupes either? Just curious.

There isn't... Only the key or the alarm/unlock/trunk/keychain thingy... Or a crowbar i guess...

I used the extra fob, and velcroed in the console, a lot easier to reach, and problem solved, or you can velcro it in the glove box just as well. If you need both, and extra fob is like10bux @ FORD, or if ya got the right type old one, they can reprogram it.

OK, first, go chastise yourself for not reading your owners manual. Second, do the same to your salesman for not going over the features ( or lack of ) of the car. After you have finished that, go here and build yourself one.

Odiaz posted a how to for installing a trunk release on this thread, but the page no longer exists. Maybe PM him..... And if you get it, please post it again, I want to add one as well eventually.

For me it wasn't. Reason being: You're a dick and anything you say, I immediately disregard. Same goes for 90% of the forum, I'm sure. Congratulations.
