HANGZHOU, China - Wanxiang, China's largest car-parts maker and one of its most acquisitive companies, is in talks with Ford to buy assets from the U.S. carmaker's troubled components arm.

Unfortunately, simple economics at work. You can't compete with quasi-slave labor. It sucks, and we're all guilty.
Frankly, most of us would probably pay for a less expensive Bullitt wheel made overseas versus the more expensive identical wheel made here.
Walmart, anyone?
