Default Test drove an '07

Hello all!! I just test drove an '07 and had a question about the transmission. When I went to make a shift, as i put it into gear it would shake the shifter kinda like it was grinding or something...its kinda hard to explain what exactly it did. I just wanted to know if that was how all mustangs were cuz ive never shifted a car that felt like that and ive driven a lot of cars. Other than that i like it. Its windveil blue with a tan metalic stripe down the center with the pony appearance package. Anyway just let me know if all mustangs are like that or if you guys think there is something wrong with it.

Thanks,
Dustin

Sounds like you missed the gear or didn't get the clutch all the way in.

+1 on the clutch, shifting should feel smooth
and solid

no ive been driving stick for 5 years now and im pretty sure i know what im doing. Clutch was all the way in and i was shifting slow and it did it with all the gears so i know it wasnt me missing a gear. And it was a gt so its not a sixer thing. But it did kinda feel like a hesitation but it just vibrated pretty bad at the same time. I think it has something wrong with it so im gonna go somewhere else and drive another one. I drove an '05 and i dont remember it doing that.

oops that was a typo, i meant gt appearance package not pony package. The one with the hood scoop, engine dress up kit and bright exaust tips.
