dumb to put 07 cobra rims on 05 gt?

dumb to put 07 cobra rims on 05 gt?
I have been looking at rims for my 05 black gt, and a place can get the 07 cobra rims for 200 a piece. Do you think that would be a dumb idea. I really like them, but I am not sure what others would think. Also, can I get the 19 inch without doing any other mods, or is it safer to go with the 18's?

I think it would look great! If you're worried that it'll look dumb because you're not driving a Cobra, it won't. It's not like you're slapping a Shelby badge and Cobra emblems on your car. Alot of the sixxers put on the GT Bullits just because it looks better.
I'd stick with 18's. When I see cars with 19's or 20's, I think less performance, and more "pimp".

Thats what you call a Tiajuana Rolex, so i guess now they have Tiajuana Shelbys?
Some of you make fun of ricers for putting stickers on their car thinking it adds horsepower, It's kind of the same thing with adding shelby or roush, or saleen, unless you actually have some of their parts on your car, and I mean more than a spoiler or springs. If its a set of wheels then thats fine, but it doesn't mean you need to plaster wanna-be shelby emblems elsewhere.
