Visual mod ideas to make my car stand out
 

Well, I just got a 2007 Mustang GT, and I need some ideas to make my car stand out a little more than the rest of the Mustangs in the area. Doesn't have to be something flashy, but something different and somewhat subtle would be ideal.

Here's what I'm working with:

I was thinking about Rally stripes, but I'm trying to keep it to where it's not going to break my pocketbook (Insurance, car payments, and my lead foot are going to soak up quite a bit of my spare cash for the next few months).

Anyone have any suggestions?

Performance before looks. but whatever floats your boat.


I'm not sure what stripes would look good with that color. You should go with a body kit in my opinion.

Oh, I agree that performance should go first; my dad and I have always liked sleepers that surprise people (I saw a Maverick done up with a Boss 302 in it that whomped on imports out at Fontana once), but I'm just looking for something that'll stand out a little more...

I agree with the post performance first. But I did not go that route!

Start with a set of springs to get rid of the 4X look, wheels, tint... that should get you started...

Get some new wheels maybe a light tint drop her to the ground a little more add some sort of chin spoiler maybe thats just my opinion though its all about the look your going for as well

Wheels and tires are the most drastic appearance mod along with lowering.

want to stand out? park next to anything except another mustang
face it even stock our cars are better looking than 99.9% of the rest

then consider cost a new vette min 45k
viper min 70k
etc etc etc
