Raced another Mustang last night
On the way home from a Christmas party last night I came up on a '98-ish Mustang. It looked stock except for some boss stickers on the side and the lack of exhaust sticking out the back. I guess he was dumping underneath cause I could hear the car over my Flowmasters. When we got to a nice straight stretch we took off from 80mph. I was in 4th gear. By 120mph he was ahead of me around 2-3 cars then we ran out of room. He didnt leave me real fast but he did pull pretty steadily. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that GT wasnt close to stock. Apparently the guy live somewhere close to me as we exited and went down the same roads together so I'll probably see him again. I took my beating and gave him a thumbs up after the race. I lost a race this past weekend as well againt a Firebird or something like that. I didnt pay attention. I was out with my neighbor and he knew this guy we ran into. The other car had drag radials, gears, intake, bigger injectors, etc. It smoked another friend of mines z06 from a dead stop to give you an idea of what i was up against. We did a 20 punch and with my buddy driving we pulled away from him immediately. We pulled him cause he just started spinning tires but once they caught it was over real quick. The moral of these storys is I Need Some Mods!

It was in a school zone at 3:30pm. Afterwards I found a size 4 shoe in my grill.

Sorry my race didn't live up to your standards. Thats just the way it worked out. There was a highway full of people behind us so so slowing down wasn't really an option and by the time we hit 120 all 4 lanes in front of us were clogged. It was long enough to see who was faster, and isn't that the point?

There was a highway full of people behind us so so slowing down wasn't really an option and by the time we hit 120 all 4 lanes in front of us were clogged.
