Hi Will,

Quick Answer: NO

That offset figure looks more appropriate for the last gen Mustang. The new cars OEM offset figures are +45mm and +50mm (for the 18x8.5"). So the wheels you're looking at will be sit over a full inch further towards the fender (and probably extend past them).

Best,
-j

24mm sets flush with the fender, so I assume anything less will stick out.

No, on a ten-inch wheel in the back you need at least a 40-45 mm offset just to be flush with the fender. With only a 24mm offset the wheel would stick out for sure.

So the widest you can go with a 24mm without having it stick out is 9"? Forgive me, i'm new at this...I really shouldn't even open my mouth on the subject.

Yeah those specs are for last generation mustang wheels... but I have heard of lots of people running them on 05+ mustangs...
I would actually like my wheels to be flush with the fender, but I DONT want them sticking out further...

So if I put 18x9 on front and back, am I gonna have any problems with the front wheels scraping when i turn?
Anyone running this setup that can tell me???
Thanks.

...almost an inch and a half more outward on the 9". Probably won't have clearance problems but I wouldn't do it. Get rims with 40-45mm offset, 50mm if you can. ...wrong rims, why go there?

well i was going there simply because I couldn't find anyone who carried the wheels i'm looking for in the 2005+ specs, but I just recently found a place that has them... so hopefully I wont need to!

thanks though guys

If I am not mistaken to fit 295's in the rear you need a 52mm offset and that will give you 1/2 inch of clearance on the inside which is the shortest doable safely.
